Party Protocol? Really, there are few
regulations on securing a private party.
And if there were more, Im sure they would have to be amended for your
very special event. So here goes:
the easiest, although verbose, party booking procedure in the world. . . There is no fee to reserve a
room for your party. However,
reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card, which will be charged $100
in the event of a cancellation.
The cost of any damage to the bar incurred during the party will be
charged to the credit card number used for the reservation. babyATLAS (downstairs) is
available for parties up to 50 ppl. And can be held private until 11 PM on
Friday and Saturday, and til 2 AM on Tues – Thurs. This room has its own bar and sound
system separate from Matilda, and you are welcome to bring your iPod (mini, 20
or 40 gig) or some burned CDs to listen to during your party. Otherwise, the bartenders have their
own stock to choose from. As far as bar packages go, they can be amended to whatever you want, depending on what you want
to spend. A good place to start is $25 per person for 3 hours would include draft beer (Stella Artios,
Goose Island, & PBR), domestic bottles, wine (15 by the glass) and generic well drinks for a total of 3
hours. One drink per customer is allowed, so dont rush the bar at closing time to get three PBRs
that will only get flat and warm while we escort you out. Cash bar parties (pay-as-you-go) are always welcome, and there is no minimum required to spend on
the bar. Party packages must be universal, meaning everyone in the room adheres the same drink
package.
If babyATLAS is already booked, no worries. We can always reserve you some space upstairs in the
pool room, again at no cost. Liquor laws restrict us from offering drink specials unless you are in a
private room, so a cash bar is required in this instance. We try to make up for this by offering your
party free use of the pool table and providing you with a personal waitress.
For larger parties, 60 to 100 ppl, you are welcome to use the Matilda pool room til 11 PM on Friday
and Saturday and til close Tues thru Thurs. Thursdays work well for fundraising events. For parties of
this size, we could offer a drink package, since you would be taking up the entire room.
Interested in renting the whole bar? That costs $10,000 for a maximum of 200 people and would
include a full open top-shelf bar, including martinis & excluding shots.
Private wine tastings can also be arranged for babyATLAS, times and dates vary. A minimum of 20
persons is required. Please contact Kevin Abercrombie at 773-883-4400 for reservations.
